From its auspicious opening with an exhibition match between golfing legends John Panton, Eric Brown, Dai Rees, and Peter Alliss, to its current status as one of the most popular parkland courses in Scotland, this course has truly come of age.
Over the years, Prestwick St Cuthbert has undergone a stunning transformation. Thousands of trees have been planted, many of which have reached maturity and now provide a beautiful, verdant backdrop to the course. With clever mounding and design touches, the course has acquired an attractive character that is both challenging and enjoyable for golfers of all levels.
